Residual Marketing – Building Your Network Marketing Business

RESIDUAL MARKETING

Residual Marketing with VideoAs a network marketer, I learned early the definition and importance of residual income, but it wasn’t until I became a internet marketer that I conceived the power of residual marketing.

The Residual Marketing Effect is described as of the continuing promotion that occurs after the initial campaign and over the life of the promotional or marketing tool. It is  a
measurement of the continued usability of a marketing tool and its effectiveness from greatest potency of initial use to the subsequent longevity of its effectiveness.

Video is one of the greatest residual marketing tools that any network marketer could possibly use. It allows you to create a promotional piece one time that becomes available 24 hours a day 7 days a week once uploaded to the internet.

Imagine the power behind online videos that promote your network marketing business that allow viewers to watch at any time of day they desire. Next, imagine those viewers being motivated to take action from the content shared in your video and joining your business without you ever personally speaking to them. This happens every day online.

How To Create Residual Marketing

In this video, I talk about how to create residual marketing. This is the type of marketing that you do once and it continues to market for you over and over and over again without any further input from you.

There are several different types of medias that you can use to create residual marketing but by far the best media is video.

With video, you can create and record a message one time and upload that video to various video hosting and distribution sites and market to people all over the world every day for as long as your video is hosted.

Building Your Internet Marketing Business with Residual Marketing

Today I was sitting around thinking about the work that I am doing with my online business.

For the past few weeks, I have been laying a solid foundation. I want my business to be sturdy and solid. I am really excited about my progress.

Now it’s time to create a following and one of the best ways to do that is to set up a residual marketing program.

Never heard of residual marketing?

Well it’s similar to residual income where you get paid over and over again for something you did once. Except with residual marketing, you get traffic over and over again for a marketing technique that you implemented once.

Video is a great residual marketing tool. In this video, I describe how I will be creating multiple videos to drive traffic to my website properties through the power of residual marketing.

What is Corporate Network Marketing?

Corporate Network Marketing

The real story behind building a business that can provide individuals with the opportunities to build wealth and spend more time doing the things they enjoy most.

Corporate Network Marketing is a term coined by June Collier in December of 2011.

It is the utilization of advertising techniques used by direct sales entrepreneurs to create a positive perception of their direct sales businesses. All marketing techniques are executed ethically and professionally creating brands that rival organizations with million dollar budgets.

Corporate Network Marketing encapsulates every aspect of professional marketing.

Choosing the best message, the right color schemes and images, and even the media delivery vehicle all play an important role in how polished your image is and the positive perception you portray about your business on to others.

Corporate network marketing is taking the best of what Fortune 500 companies have utilized to brand and market their products and services and emulating the same actions within your own business.

In 2011, I was featured as a guest speaker at multiple professional conferences throughout the country. During my personal branding presentations, I would casually mention network marketing as an industry who could benefit from the type of branding strategies I was teaching.

I knew that most professionals frown upon the network marketing business model. I only made those quick references just to get a temperature gauge of the audience. But I would quickly move on with the rest of my topic and not mention network marketing again.

To my surprise, after my presentation, I would have individuals standing in line to inquire about using my personal branding techniques to promote their network marketing businesses. I even got a few attendees who attempted to recruit me in their business. It seems they felt since I was obviously open to the idea of network marketing I might be a good prospect.

What was a shocker to me was the caliber of individuals approaching me. You see, these were business professional conferences that I was speaking at. They were not network marketing events. The individuals approaching me held prominent positions in some of the country’s most recognized companies. They were heavy hitters in their industry. Who would have thought they were involved in network marketing as a secondary business.

I soon realized that the timing was perfect for the network marketing industry. Many individuals who had turned their up their noses to network marketing in the past, were starting to look at network marketing opportunities through a different lens. You see, the corporate dream had now become the corporate nightmare!

Negative changes in the economy and massive layoffs were being experienced by people at all levels of corporate America. Climbing the corporate ladder had now become a potentially dangerous hazard and many were looking for back up plans and exit strategies.

No one was immune from corporate downsizing. For the first time in their working lives, people were finding it difficult to find suitable employment after being laid off from that “good job” they had for the last twelve years.

The economy had changed everything.

Homes were being foreclosed with families living on the edge trying to earn enough money to meet their basic living expenses. Even young people who were graduating from college were finding it difficult to find employment.

The American way of thinking which was to go to college, graduate and find a good paying job was no longer working. People of all professional calibers were and are looking for legitimate alternatives to earn a living and build wealth.

This is creating the perfect storm for those who have opted to get involved in network marketing. Today, you are at the right place during a critical period when a large number of people are seeking alternatives. Network marketing has become a smart alternative for many.

Here’s some great facts about individuals with corporate America working experience:

Not only are they highly educated and experienced; but they can become attentive prospects for the delivery of your message. The pain point of not finding work and loosing everything they have worked so hard to build is a very humbling experience. They are open to hear your message but that message must be delivered in the professional manner that they are use to.

In the past, network marketers were ridiculed for peddling scams and pyramid schemes. People today are better informed and aware that the true pyramid scheme is found deeply rooted within Corporate America.

The hard work is done by low wage earning employee while the real wealth is filtered up to the executive levels of companies.

We’ve all seen it happen in the last few years. Greedy corporate executives paying themselves millions in bonuses while workers are downsized or forced to work longer hours to cover the work that use to be done by their previous coworkers.

As a recruiter who staffs executives in corporate America, I can honestly tell you that the average working American doesn’t have a chance at earning anywhere close to the income the executives in their company is making.

Recently, the Wall Street Job Report stated that CEO pay leaped 27% in 2010 while workers in the private industry had their pay go up just 2.1%. By one calculation, the ratio of CEO pay to that of the average worker in 2010 was 343 to 1. To make matters worse, poor performing CEOs typically receive bonuses and additional rewards, even when the stock prices of their company are plummeting.

This is why people are seeking alternatives. Becoming an entrepreneur gives you a fighting chance at making dramatic changes to your lifestyle. Corporate America is still a great place to learn and build your business savvy, but network marketing offers you the ability to become an entrepreneur and have direct control over your financial destiny.

Becoming an entrepreneur doesn’t guarantee you over night success. In fact be prepared to work over a period of time before the fruits of your labor start to show themselves in abundance. Professional business people understand that it takes time and effort to grow a business. They are simply looking for the right opportunity that matches their level of risk acceptance.

Are you positioned to offer it to them?

Three C’s of Leadership

This morning I read an article on leadership. The author spoke about two people who were considered great leaders of their time; John F. Kennedy and Ronald Reagan. He stated that they had more than just star power but that they also earned authority; a tangible confidence and sense of their mastery of a situation that inspires others to follow them and work toward a common goal. This confidence in themselves was what cause others to follow them.

While it is highly unlikely that those of you who are reading this post are aspiring to become the next President of the United States, if you are involved in network marketing you should be aspiring to become a leader that others will follow. In this short video the speaker, John Baldoni, provides three behaviors that reinforce a leader’s presence.
